Infrastructure MEP Networks

Site-wide MEP infrastructure — outdoor networks, feeding points, substations and lighting networks — for developments measured in hundreds of thousands of square metres.

What we do

Alongside buildings, Evolution designs the MEP infrastructure that serves whole sites: industrial cities, resort communities, residential compounds, public parks, waterfronts and metro depots.

The largest reference is Sudair Industrial City in Saudi Arabia — all outdoor networks with their feeding points plus the road lighting network over 8 million m², with a connected load of 220 MVA. At Palm Royale Resort in Soma Bay the existing infrastructure networks were re-studied, redesigned and replaced without interrupting the operation of the resort.

Questions

Infrastructure MEP Networks: quick answers

What is the largest infrastructure project Evolution has designed?

Sudair Industrial City in Saudi Arabia (2010): the infrastructure design of an 8 million m² industrial city, covering all outdoor networks with feeding points and the road lighting network, with a total connected load of 220 MVA.

Can infrastructure networks be replaced while a site keeps operating?

Yes. At Palm Royale Resort in Soma Bay (2023), Evolution re-studied, redesigned and replaced all of the MEP infrastructure networks of a five-star resort without cutting off the resort’s operation.
